Welcome to City Sathi. By accessing our website, mobile application, or booking any service through our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using City Sathi’s services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. About Our Services
City Sathi provides on-demand home services through verified service professionals, including but not limited to:
- Electrician Services
- Plumbing Services
- AC Installation, Repair and Maintenance
- CCTV Installation and Repair
- Appliance Repair Services
- Handyman Services
- Other home-related services listed on our platform
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use our services.
4. Bookings and Appointments
- Service bookings are subject to technician availability.
- City Sathi reserves the right to accept, reject, reschedule, or cancel any booking.
- Customers must provide accurate contact details and service addresses.
- Customers must ensure access to the service location at the scheduled time.
5. Pricing and Payments
- Service charges displayed on the platform may vary depending on the nature and scope of work.
- Additional charges may apply if extra materials, spare parts, or services are required.
- Payments can be made through the payment methods available on the platform.
- All payments must be completed before or immediately after service completion, as applicable.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Customer Cancellation
- Customers may cancel their booking without any charge before a technician has been assigned.
- If a technician has already been assigned, cancellation will result in a refund of only 50% of the amount paid.
- Once the technician has started the service at the customer’s location, the booking cannot be cancelled and no refund will be issued.
Service Delay
- If City Sathi fails to complete the booked service within 48 hours of the scheduled service time due to reasons solely attributable to City Sathi, the customer may be eligible for a full refund.
Completed Services
- No refund requests will be accepted after the service has been completed.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information regarding the requested service.
- Ensure a safe working environment for technicians.
- Cooperate during service delivery.
- Inspect the completed work before approving service completion.
8. Service Warranty
- Any warranty provided shall be limited to the specific service or spare parts, if expressly mentioned.
- Warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.
9. Limitation of Liability
City Sathi shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or emergencies.
- Pre-existing defects or issues unrelated to the services provided.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the City Sathi platform, including logos, text, graphics, images, and designs, is the property of City Sathi and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.
11. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our platform, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Modification of Terms
City Sathi reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will become effective immediately upon publication on the platform.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction in West Bengal, India.
